🍂❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You from Coughlan Memorial United Church ❤️🍂
What a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, laughter, and community at our Lasagna Supper! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success.
To all our volunteers, those who worked behind the scenes, those who welcomed and served our guests, and those who stayed to tackle the cleanup afterward — thank you for giving so generously of your time, energy, and hearts. Every helping hand, every task completed, and every act of kindness contributed to making the evening so special.
A very special thank you goes to our resident chef, Bruce Brookings, whose culinary talents helped make the supper such a delicious treat! Bruce, we are so grateful for the care, dedication, and love you put into what you do. Of course wherever Bruce is, Caig is not far behind. We love you guys.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our wonderful servers, who made sure our guests felt welcomed and cared for.
And to everyone who joined us as our guests — thank you for coming out, sharing a meal, enjoying the fellowship, and supporting Coughlan Memorial United Church. Your presence and encouragement mean more than you know.
Our Lasagna Supper was about more than a delicious meal. It was also an expression of our commitment to Project Revitalize — our vision for renewing and strengthening our church so that it can continue to serve our congregation and wider community for generations to come.
Every supper shared, every fundraiser supported, every volunteer hour given, and every donation received helps move that vision forward. Together, we are working toward a more accessible, welcoming, and vibrant Coughlan Memorial United Church — a place where people can gather, belong, grow, and experience the love of community.
Project Revitalize is about more than revitalizing a building. It is about revitalizing possibilities, strengthening connections, and creating space for hope to grow and love to flourish.
A church is never simply its walls or its roof. A church is its people — people who show up, share their gifts, make room at the table, and discover the joy of working together toward something meaningful.
Tonight was a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together with generous hearts and a shared purpose.
To each and every one of you, thank you for being part of this journey. We are grateful for your kindness, proud of our community, and excited about what we can accomplish together.
