This school was built over a hundred years ago by people with big dreams of a better future for their families. Those people are now gone but their legacy lives on in the dreams they had. The land still produces sustenance to the world and the irises planted years ago still bloom.
These were people of faith. They served daily the God that provided in abundant and lean times. They understood that though seasons change God was faithful. They gathered with community to work together for greater good.
Perhaps this is a lesson that we have forgotten in an increasingly insular world. We have forgotten to gather together, to draw strength from each other and to lift up those less able. We were meant for community. Seek and you shall find. Have a wonderful week and enjoy the green countryside. Peace.S

Our Hebrew Scriptures remind us that way back in the beginning God separated the heavens, earth and seas. In a place like Peggy's Cove you feel the power and presence of the hand of God the Father. The famous lighthouse stands guard warning of dangers and guiding vessels to safety for those who pay attention. Jesus is our light if we look to Him. In times of confusion or strife the Holy Spirit whispers gently in our ear to look to the light. May we all in this Trinity Sunday remember how blessed we are to know our Triune God. Peace. S
