The Feast of the Creator opens the Season of Creation with worship that turns attention to God’s work in creation. Rooted for centuries in Orthodox tradition, the feast has become the focus of a wider ecumenical movement, embraced by many churches seeking a shared liturgical expression of God as Creator.

Bishop Susan Bell invites the women of the Diocese of Niagara to join her the Niagara Women's Retreat: Shaping the Future. This retreat explores women’s leadership and its role in strengthening the church’s mission today.

📅 October 16 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm and October 17 from 9:15 am to 4:00 pm
📍 St. Mark’s, Niagara-on-the-Lake
💬 Featuring a wine and cheese reception, a Compline service, a special lecture by Bishop Susan, a panel of women ministry leaders, prayer, reflection and fellowship.

The retreat will also celebrate 50 years of the ordination of women in the Anglican Church of Canada.
