What are you thankful for today? Drop your answer in the comments! 🇨🇦🦃🍂 “A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed – to be observed on the second Monday in October.” 🇨🇦🍂🦃 Thanksgiving was first made a national holiday in Canada in 1879, but the dates often shifted. By 1957, the date was fixed as the second Monday in October by the statement above, from Governor General Vincent Massey. We thank God for all his good gifts — and especially for each year’s harvest, in this incredible farming region we call home.
