In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that discipleship requires commitment. Following Christ means placing Him at the centre of our lives and allowing His love to shape our choices, priorities, and relationships. While this call can be challenging, it also brings great joy and purpose.

Jesus also teaches that no act of kindness is too small in God's eyes. Even offering a cup of cold water to someone in need is seen, valued, and blessed by the Lord. Through simple acts of hospitality, generosity, and compassion, we become witnesses to Christ's presence in the world.

As we reflect on this Gospel, let us consider how we can welcome Christ more fully into our hearts and recognize Him in those we encounter each day.

In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus reminds His disciples not to be afraid. He knows that following Him is not always easy, but He reassures us that we are never alone. God knows us completely, loves us deeply, and values each one of us beyond measure.

Jesus tells us that even the sparrows are cared for by God, and that every hair on our heads is counted. What a powerful reminder that we are precious in God's sight!

As we journey through this week, may we place our trust in the Lord, especially in moments of uncertainty or challenge. Let us have the courage to live our faith openly, sharing the hope and love of Christ with those around us.

On this beautiful feast of Corpus Christi, we celebrate the incredible gift of the Eucharist—the true Body and Blood of Christ. In today's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that He is the Bread of Life, given for the life of the world. Through the Eucharist, Christ nourishes us, strengthens us, and remains with us in a profound and intimate way.

Each time we gather at the Lord's table, we encounter not simply a symbol, but Jesus Himself. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life, drawing us into deeper communion with God and with one another.

As we celebrate this solemnity, may we renew our gratitude for this sacred gift and allow the presence of Christ in the Eucharist to transform our hearts and guide our lives.

Come join us on a 5K run/walk for the Wish Heart Fund in support of MacKids. The event takes place on Saturday, June 13th, 2026. Runners will start at 9:45am, walkers will start at 9:30am. We will end in front of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and refreshments will be served across the street at Casa Maria. There is no registration fee however fundraising is strongly encouraged. On this Feast of the Holy Trinity, we celebrate the mystery at the heart of our faith: one God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While the Trinity is a mystery beyond our complete understanding, today's Gospel reveals its deepest truth: God is love.

The Father loves the world so completely that He sends His Son. The Son freely gives Himself for our salvation. The Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and dwell within us. The Trinity is not simply something we believe in—it is a relationship of perfect love into which we are invited.

As we celebrate this feast, let us remember that we are created by the Father, redeemed by the Son, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. May we reflect the love of the Trinity in our families, our parish, and our community.

🙏 Prayer
Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—draw us ever closer to You. Help us to live as people of faith, hope, and love. May our lives reflect the unity, compassion, and self-giving love that flows from You. Amen.
