With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, we welcome our new Bishop!

At noon today (6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time) His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, announced that the Most Reverend Joseph Dabrowski, C.S.M.A., currently Bishop of Charlottetown, has been appointed the 10th Bishop of Hamilton. Previously, Bishop Dabrowski, served as Auxiliary Bishop of London.

His Excellency, Bishop Dabrowski, has indicated that he will present his Decree of Appointment to the College of Consultors on February 2, 2026, and “formally take possession of the See”, at a ceremony to be held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Christ the King in Hamilton, Ontario.

Bishop Dabrowski becomes the Bishop of Hamilton on his appointment by Pope Leo XIV. He is to be included in the Eucharistic Prayer offered in the diocese effective immediately. In the interim, I have been appointed Apostolic Administrator of the diocese. Upon his accession, I will retire.

On Wednesday, November 5, after the 8:30 a.m. Mass, we will have a Holy Hour of Adoration in honour of Saint Joseph for the First Wednesday of the month (and subsequently, on all First Wednesdays. The intentions are for the Protection of the Family, the Church and an increase of vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious life.

NOVEMBER 1 IS THE SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS.!

We celebrate both canonized and uncanonized saints. If our friends and relatives have finished their time of purification, they are also saints in heaven! Let us celebrate them, and ask them to pray for us!

JOIN US FOR THE MASS OF THE SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS ON
SATURDAY @ 9 A.M.

Followed by First Saturday Devotions in Reparation for the blasphemies committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with Holy Hour of Adoration.

On Sunday, November 2, the Commemoration of All Souls, H.E. Bishop Wayne Lobsinger, D.D., will celebrate the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Eugene's. The intentions of the Mass are for the deceased parishioners of Saint Eugene's and St. John the Baptist parishes AND FOR THE SOULS OF THE DECEASED FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF ALL WHO ATTEND THIS MASS.

There will be refreshments to follow, hosted by the CWL.

All are welcome to this Holy Mass of remembrance!

Join us after Holy Mass on Saturday Nov 1, All Saints' Day, for our monthly First Saturday Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Let us pray for peace in the world, and for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was requested by Our Blessed Mother to the Servant of God, Sister Lucia who saw her at Fatima.
- Holy Hour of Adoration.
- Holy Rosary.
-Meditation and other devotions.
We will conclude with Solemn Benediction.

Tomorrow Saturday, June 8 is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Please join us for morning Mass at 9 a.m. with Holy Rosary to follow.
Please make a sacrifice and let us show our Blessed Mother how much we love her!
After all, it is our feast day since we are hers!
