Dear Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters,

I urgently need your help.

It is the last week of the legislative session and the Ontario government has not brought back our Orthodox Christian Week bill to Third Reading.

If the bill does not return this week, it may die on the order paper if the Legislature doesn't return next year for any reason. That would mean the end of Bill 167: Orthodox Christian Week Act.

Many bills to recognize other cultures and faiths have rightly passed in the Ontario Legislature. Our community deserves the same respect.

If you want to help, please click this link to find your MPP's e-mail and telephone number so you can tell them why it's important that Ontario recognizes an annual Orthodox Christian Week. If you have the time, please do so tomorrow before the session ends.

We are truly thankful to everyone for joining and supporting us this weekend. Your presence made our celebration truly memorable, and we cherish every shared moment.
We are so grateful for an amazing program that featured the Carica Milica Choir, the Niagara Falls Tamburica, and a wonderful Sunday performance by the children's choir, musically accompanied by Prota Lazar Vukoje on guitar. The weekend was filled with incredible talent and memorable moments – thank you to everyone who made it so special.
