Happy Thanksgiving Church!!

Yesterday at Pure Fire International, Pastor Joanna brought a powerful reminder about the words we speak and the power they carry!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21

What are you speaking over yourself? Your health? Your family? Your finances? Your circumstances?

Our words matter. We can speak from a place of fear, negativity, and defeat, or we can choose to speak words of faith, life, blessing, and gratitude. Instead of continually declaring what is wrong, let’s be intentional about declaring God’s truth over our lives and the people around us.

Let’s be people who speak life, give blessings instead of curses, and cultivate hearts filled with thanksgiving and gratitude. Our words should reflect the hope we have in Jesus!

We also had the joy of celebrating Thanksgiving together as a church family! What a beautiful reminder that we have so much to be grateful for. We are thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness, for our church family, and for all He continues to do in our midst.

May we leave this week being intentional with our words, choosing faith over fear and gratitude over grumbling. Let’s speak life!

Pastors, thank you for your faithfulness, your sacrifices, your prayers, and your heart for the people God has entrusted to you. We are so blessed to be led, loved, and pastored by you!

We have an exciting month ahead! Join us this October as we gather for worship, the Word, fellowship, and Thanksgiving together as a church family.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Sunday, October 11 - Thanksgiving Lunch
Pastor Joanna will be speaking, followed by a Thanksgiving lunch served after service. Come ready to give thanks and enjoy some time together as a church family!

Sunday, October 18 - Dr. Russ Ministering
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Russ as he ministers this weekend. Come expectant for what the Lord has in store!

Pastor Derek brought a WORD this Sunday - and this one wasn’t just about leadership… it was about CHARACTER.

“Portraits of a Leader” out of 2 Timothy 2 challenged us to look beyond titles, positions, and platforms and ask the real question:

What kind of person are you becoming?

A Kingdom leader is called to be:

🔥 REPRODUCTIVE … serving to reproduce
🔥 LOYAL
🔥 DISCIPLINED
🔥 HARD WORKING
🔥 DILIGENT
🔥 PURE
🔥 SUBMISSIVE

And Paul gives Timothy three things to KEEP DOING:

📖 PREACH THE WORD.
🔥 DO THE WORK.
🏃 RUN THE RACE.

Not just when it’s exciting.
Not just when people are watching.
Not just when it’s convenient.

KEEP GOING. KEEP SERVING. KEEP OBEYING. KEEP RUNNING.

Because Kingdom leadership isn’t about being seen … it’s about being faithful.

This word challenged us. It sharpened us. It reminded us that God is looking for people who will carry the assignment with purity, discipline, humility, and endurance.

🔥 THE WORD HAS BEEN PREACHED.
🔥 THE WORK IS IN FRONT OF US.
🔥 THE RACE IS STILL BEING RUN.

And we’re not backing down.

WHAT A POWERFUL TIME IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD! 🔥🔥

There is nothing like gathering together in His presence, where faith is stirred, hearts are set ablaze, and we are reminded of the power of walking together as the body of Christ!

Pastor Derek brought a FIRE message on leadership, challenging and equipping us to rise up, walk in obedience, and lead with the heart of the Kingdom! 🔥

From powerful moments in the Word to sweet fellowship, genuine connection, and sharing in communion as we remember the finished work of Jesus Christ, it was a beautiful time in the presence of God!

We are hungry for more of His presence, more of His Word, and more of what He wants to do in and through His people! The fire is burning, and we are expectant for all that is still to come! 🔥🙌
