NOTICE: Our dear friend, Jordan Abraham, music director for our High Holy Days is in mourning. His father passed away yesterday.

Condolence Notice: Victor Abraham ז״ל

The Beth Jacob family mourns the passing of long-time member, Victor Abraham z"l.

Our heartfelt condolences to his children: Jordan (Leigh) & Ramona (Gabriel) and granddaughters Sapphira & Ziyana.

The funeral service will be held at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road, Hamilton on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00am. Interment to follow service at Stanley Sobel Beth Jacob Cemetery, 1400 Snake Road, Burlington. Rabbi Wajnberg & Cantor Baruch will officiate.

A Meal of Condolence will follow Interment at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 375 Aberdeen Avenue, following which there will be a mincha service at 4:30pm, also at Beth Jacob Synagogue.

May God comfort the mourners
among all those mourning
for Zion and Jerusalem.
May they know no more sorrow.

May Victor's memory be for a blessing.

Join us in person or online tomorrow, Thursday, May 21st, at 7:00 PM for our Erev Shavuot service, with our Confirmation students! There will be a Dessert Oneg after the service, sponsored and prepared by the Confirmation families.

We are so proud of the work that Zahra and Ethan have done to prepare for this day. They remind us all that Jewish learning does not end when you become Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Come out and celebrate these two bright young individuals and the Pugh and Passow families as a community!

Havdalah with Friends is back! We have planned 6 dates over the summer for fun, casual gatherings in the backyards of our members’ homes.

Celebrate Shavuot with us at the Summit Station Dairy & Creamery on May 23rd, starting at 7:30 PM. Enjoy an evening of community, friendship, and joy as we come together for a special Shavuot Havdalah. HAVDALAH with FRIENDS is a wonderful, casual evening with Temple Members and friends.
