Our UCW (United Church Women) Units warmly invite all women in
our community of Faith to join them at their first meetings of the season! The UCW provides opportunities to develop Christian understanding, faith and experience through involvement and activities, as well to cultivate friendships and unite our women! ✨

🩵UCW Unit 3: Join the ladies of UCW Unit 3 for their first meeting of the season on Monday, September 14th at 1:00 p.m. in Dickenson Hall. More info to come.

💛 UCW Unit 6: Unit 6 will kick off the new season with a warm gathering on Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 p.m. in Dickenson Hall. We will look at Biblical Quotes in Use Today. All women are welcome for the fellowship and fun!

In August 2025, General Council 45 supported the resolution for a Harm Reduction Sunday to be observed across the United Church on Sunday, August 30th. Since then, much has happened in Canada to do with the lives of people who use drugs. Harm reduction services have come under attack through provincial government regulations and policies. Our Food for the Soul group will be holding their very first meeting on Monday, August 31st at 7:00 p.m. in Dickenson and we hope you can make it! This will be a planning meeting to get things started - there will be no cooking done yet. Anyone who is interested in participating in the group is welcome to join the meeting! 💌

Food for the Soul will gather once per month on a Monday evening to make some meals for our church family and friends that may need a little extra support. It will be a bit like a food "urgent care" unit.
