Join us Sundays as we grow in faith, build community and serve our city with Christ's love. Welcome to MacNab Presbyterian Church! We are located in the heart of Hamilton, right across from the Go Transit Parking lot at the corner of MacNab and Hurst. We have two Sunday services:

Gathering is our intimate and contemporary service. Coffee is available at 8:45 and worship begins at 9am. Traditional

On Fridays we pray for the communities around MacNab .....

Heavenly Father,
On this Friday, we lift before You the communities surrounding MacNab. Pour out Your blessing upon every home, family, and individual. Let Your peace rest upon our neighborhoods, Your wisdom guide our leaders, and Your love be seen in our daily interactions.
Lord, strengthen those who are struggling with illness, loneliness, grief, financial hardship, or uncertainty. Provide for those in need, comfort the hurting, and give hope to those who feel discouraged. Protect our children, support our seniors, and draw people together in kindness and understanding.
We pray for the churches, schools, businesses, community organizations, and first responders who serve these communities. Grant them wisdom, courage, and compassion as they carry out their work.
May the ministry of MacNab be a light in the community, reflecting the love of Christ and welcoming all who seek You. Open hearts to the Gospel, deepen faith, and raise up opportunities to serve others in Your name.
As this week comes to a close, help us to be instruments of Your peace wherever we go—sharing encouragement, extending grace, and living as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On Thursdays we pray for peace

"Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all."

Let us pray:
Gracious Father,
On this Thursday, I come before You seeking Your peace. In a world filled with noise, uncertainty, and division, let Your calming presence rest upon my heart and mind.
Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace. Bring peace to my home, my family, my church, my community, and the nations of the world. Where there is conflict, sow understanding. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is anxiety, grant trust in Your unfailing care.
I pray for those who are troubled, lonely, grieving, or burdened today. Surround them with Your comfort and remind them that You are near. Bless the ministries and people of MacNab, that they may be instruments of Your peace and grace in the lives of others.
Holy Spirit, guard my thoughts and guide my words. Help me to be a peacemaker, reflecting the love, patience, and kindness of Christ in every encounter. May I carry Your peace wherever I go today.
Thank You, Lord, that Your peace is not dependent on circumstances but is rooted in Your faithful presence. I place this day into Your hands and trust You with all that lies ahead.

On Wednesdays we pray for the homeless ......

"The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down." — Psalm 146:9 (NKJV)

Gracious and merciful Father,
Today I lift before You all who are homeless, displaced, lonely, and struggling to find shelter and security. Lord, You know every name, every story, and every burden carried by those who sleep without a home of their own.
Provide for their daily needs. Open doors to safe housing, nourishing food, meaningful support, and compassionate care. Protect them from harm, illness, despair, and exploitation. Surround them with people who will treat them with dignity, kindness, and respect.
Strengthen those who serve in shelters, outreach ministries, food banks, and community organizations. Bless their efforts and multiply the resources available to them.
Lord Jesus, help us as Your people to see Your image in every person we meet. Give us hearts that are generous, hands that are willing to serve, and eyes that notice those who are often overlooked.
May those who are discouraged find hope, those who are afraid find peace, and those who are wandering find a place of welcome and belonging.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who had no place to lay His head and yet offers an eternal home to all who trust in Him.

Let us pray:
Gracious and loving Father,
On this Tuesday, we lift before You the mission and ministry of MacNab. Thank You for calling Your people to be a light in the community and a witness to the saving love of Jesus Christ.
Fill the congregation with fresh vision, courage, and compassion. Open doors for meaningful conversations, acts of kindness, and opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel. May every ministry, every outreach, every prayer, and every gathering reflect Your heart for those who are seeking You.
Bless the leaders, volunteers, and members of the church. Strengthen them with the power of the Holy Spirit and unite them in purpose and love. Give wisdom in every decision and joy in every act of service.
We pray for the neighbourhoods surrounding MacNab. Draw people to Yourself. Bring comfort to the lonely, provision to those in need, healing to the hurting, and peace to troubled hearts.
Lord Jesus, make MacNab a place where faith grows, lives are transformed, and Your presence is known. May all that is done there bring glory to Your name and advance Your kingdom.

Gracious and Loving God,
As a new week begins, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of this day and for the opportunities that lie ahead. Thank You for Your faithfulness through the past week and for Your mercies that are new every morning.
Lord, guide my steps in all that I do. Grant me wisdom for every decision, strength for every challenge, and peace in every circumstance. Help me to walk closely with You, trusting Your leading and relying on Your grace.
Bless my family, friends, church, and community. Watch over those who are struggling, lonely, grieving, or burdened. Bring comfort to the hurting, hope to the discouraged, and healing to those in need.
As I begin this week, fill me with the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. May my words encourage others, my actions reflect Your goodness, and my life bring glory to Your name.
Open doors for ministry and service. Help me to recognize opportunities to share Your love and to be a blessing to those I meet. Keep me faithful in prayer, steadfast in faith, and joyful in hope.
I place this week into Your hands, trusting that You are already at work in every moment that lies ahead.
