🙏 3 Simple Ways to Grow Closer to Christ on Our Journey to Heaven 🤍

Growing in holiness does not always require grand gestures. Often, it is through small, consistent acts of prayer, kindness, and love that we draw closer to Christ and to our ultimate goal: spending eternity with our Heavenly Father.

As Jesus reminds us:

“Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

🍁🙏 Wishing our parish family a blessed start to this shorter week after a beautiful Thanksgiving long weekend!

As we return to our daily duties, let us remember that even our ordinary work, responsibilities, and challenges can become offerings of love and service to Christ.

And if those Monday evening worries (aka Sunday Scaries) begin to creep in, place them in God's hands! Trust in His providence, pray for His guidance, and ask for the grace to embrace the week ahead with gratitude and joy. Before we know it, the weekend will be upon us again! ❤️

⛪ Come pray with us this week!

🙏 Weekday Mass: Tuesday–Friday at 8:30 AM in our beautiful chapel.

🙏 Weekend Mass:
Saturday at 5 PM
Sunday at 10 AM

Join us in giving thanks for God's many blessings and asking Him for the strength, peace, and wisdom to carry us through the short week ahead.

May the Lord bless your work, guide your steps, and grant you a joyful and peaceful week! ✝️🍂

Stay tuned for the announcement of our yearly favourite parish event which is shortly upon up us! 🔔

A Beautiful Evening of Faith, Fellowship & Hospitality
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers for making Hospitality Weekend so special, with homemade desserts and treats, fresh coffee, gluten free options for those with dietary restrictions, and even a little trivia for those who wanted to join in the fun. Most importantly, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and included.

A very special shout out to Sheila, Tess, and their amazing team, who dedicate their time and energy to hosting these hospitality gatherings every two months. Your continued commitment to bringing our parish together is so appreciated!

Sts. Peter & Paul is truly a church family, bringing together young families, singles, newcomers, and longtime parishioners, some of whom have called this their spiritual home for 70+ years. Whether you’re new to town, searching for a home parish, or simply looking to connect with other Catholics and become more involved, there is a place for you here.

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, you have committed to your holy Church the care and nurture of your children. Enlighten with your wisdom those who teach and those who learn, that rejoicing in the knowledge of your truth, they may worship you and serve you from generation to generation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

On July 2nd, Fr. Joe completed 5 weeks of Radiation Treatment (25 fractions) to treat a small spot on a lymph node in the pelvic area. This was his 3rd set of radiation treatments in 4 years! Thankfully, Fr. Joe was able to maintain his regular workload during the treatments as he did in 2022 and 2025. He thanks the "TWENTY F---Radiation Therapy Team" at the Juravinski Cancer Center for their support and many laughs during the last 5 weeks! He would also like to thank his Oncologist, Dr. Ian Dayes and his team as well as his family physician Dr. Tanya Grieci who guided him through his initial diagnosis and their continuing health monitoring.
Let us continue to keep Fr. Joe in our prayers so that he may continue to serve us in our parish.
