A joyful day for the Diocese of Hamilton! Today, we give thanks for the ordination of Ivan Zeljeznjak, Adam Walker, Gustavo Ponce, and Paul Dobrowolski to the Permanent Diaconate by Bishop Joseph Dabrowski, CSMA.

Congratulations to these four men, their wives, and their families as they answer God's call to serve the Church and the people of our Diocese. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin this new chapter of ministry.

This past Saturday, the CWL was blessed to welcome Carmelina Biundo, who led an inspiring retreat entitled "Girl Math Meets God Math".
The women who attended shared in a meaningful morning of scripture, prayer, reflection and faith-filled conversation. Carmelina's message encouraged everyone present to make more room for God in their daily lives and to trust in His plan with open hearts.
Thank you to Carmelina for leading such a thoughtful and uplifting retreat and to all the ladies who joined us for this special morning together.

We are preparing for our CWL Garage, Plant & Bake Fundraiser which takes place on Saturday, May 30th from 8 am to 2 pm. This fundraiser will help to support our Parish's initiatives and to assist other local charities.

There will be many gently used treasures, plants and home baked goodies.
New this year is a 50/50 draw!!!

Bring your family, friends and neighbours.

Our CWL Garage, Plant & Bake Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 30th from 8 am to 2 pm. This fundraiser will help to assist with our Parish initiatives and to support local charities. New this year is a 50/50 draw!!!

All Parishioners are kindly asked to consider ways to contribute by :
✅ donating gently used treasures that you may have found in your spring cleaning
✅ baking one or two of your favourite loaf/cookie/muffin recipes
✅ thinning out your garden perennials and repotting your extra plants
✅ volunteering to assist with the set up/take down, or to help out during the actual garage sale

The CWL warmly welcomes Carmelina Biundo who is not only a parishioner, she is also an Elementary Religion and Family Life Consultant with the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board, to lead a retreat on Faith, Scripture, and Prayer “From Girl Math to God Math”. With a fun and relatable play on words, this retreat will explore how prayer, Scripture and faith can become the true formula for life. "God math" reminds us that when we add prayer, multiply trust, subtract fear and count our blessings, God always provides more than we could image.
Please join us on Saturday, May 23rd beginning with Mass at 8 am followed by the retreat in the Parish Hall. We will be serving a continental breakfast.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women in our parish! 🌹 On this day we honor your strength, resilience, and unwavering faith. Your love is a reflection of God’s own tender heart. May God bless you with peace and joy today and always!🌹🌹

The May Crowning of our Blessed Mother will be led by our Parish CWL on Sunday, May 10 at 12pm noon Mass. Join us as we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary as our Queen and Mother.

This weekend our Parish is also once again partnering with Hamilton Right to Life 2026 Baby Bottle Campaign from Mothers’ Day to Fathers’ Day. Baby Bottles 🍼 will handed out at all weekend Masses, to be returned on the weekend of June 20/21st Fathers’ Day. 🍼🎩 Please take a bottle and fill it up with your coins, paper money or cheque made out to Hamilton Right to Life. Your support helps to raise money to educate, advertise and get the message out regarding the devastating effects of abortion and other life-threatening issues.
