We've reached the final stage of our "Building Blocks of the Disciple" study series on Sunday afternoons, and have kicked off a sub-series called "Make Disciples". This week we learned how the natural outgrowth of following Christ is wanting others to know Jesus as well.

We hope that these practical tips will help you as you seek to have an influence in the lives of others, and share with them the good news of God's love.

Our Sunday afternoon service is each week at 1:00 pm. We'd love to have you join us as we learn and grow together!

We held our second annual Celebrate Africa Sunday this week! In the past few years, we've had many new members join whose journey began in Africa, and we wanted to give them an opportunity to share their cultures and testimonies with us.

Sunday was a wonderful time of learning about Africa and also learning from God's Word! Continuing in I Timothy, we were challenged about the personal responsibility that each of us has to uphold God's truth in the church.

We are just about halfway through the book of I Timothy in our Sunday morning sermon series! Each week, we're looking at the blueprint the Bible has laid out for how the church is supposed to operate, effectively showing the love of Christ to our community. Join us Sundays at 11 am as we look at this fascinating topic together!

We had a super week for Summer Youth Club 2026! We welcomed 90 different kids over the course of a week full of fun, games, and learning about God's love. We were blessed with great weather, enthusiastic spirits, and hard-working volunteers. Thanks to everyone who helped make this week a success!

We were out in the community today, handing out freezies and inviting people out to our Summer Youth Club! It was wonderful to meet people who had already signed up, and to sign up some more to join us on Monday!

Summer Youth Club runs this coming Monday through Friday (July 27-31) from 6-8 pm, and is for ages 8-14. We'll enjoy a week of games, activities, truths from the Bible, and a whole lot of fun! Visit steelcitychurch.ca/syc for more information and to register!

This week, we welcomed Pastor Doug Wood to preach in our Sunday services. He shared with us the key to happiness and the importance of receiving grace from God. You can check those sermons out on our YouTube channel.

Summer is in full swing at Steel City! Pastor Eagles continued our study in 1 Timothy this Sunday with the second part of his sermon about how "The Gospel is for everyone."

There are less than two weeks remaining until Summer Youth Club! Mark July 27-31 on your calendars as we prepare for an incredible time of games, sports, fun, and practical life lessons from the Bible. We hope your kids will join us for a great week!

We had a wonderful Sunday at Steel City! We were reunited with old friends and welcomed new ones.

Pastor Eagles preached a timely sermon about how "the Gospel is for everyone", and we learned how God can open doors so that everyone can hear the good news of Jesus, no matter how impossible it may seem.

"If everyone prayed like you pray, what would that look like?"

That was one of the many truths about prayer that Pastor Eagles challenged us about on Sunday, as we continued our "Behave" study through the book of I Timothy.

We also welcomed the Becker family, missionaries on their way to Germany. We were blessed by their ministry and were encouraged by the message Bro. Becker brought in our afternoon service about "staying faithful".

Over the past few months, our parking lot has been bursting at the seams!

We're thrilled that God has opened the door for an agreement with our north-side neighbour that will see our parking capacity increased by 50%!

This will ensure that we have easily accessible parking for everyone who needs it.
