This past Sunday we celebrated Peter Van Der Horden who has been our bandmaster for the past 5 years and is now retiring. When Halifax West was formed and needed someone to lead the band Peter stepped up (even though he had already “retired” once before) and grew our band into what it is today.

We are so thankful for Peter’s leadership and the impact he has made on our band.

Thank you Peter for answering the call to lead this important ministry. We appreciate your time, dedication and your heart for banding. We are so blessed to have had you as a leader, and equally blessed that we get to continue playing alongside you in the band
going forward! 🎶
