With deep sorrow, we share the passing of B.G. Ajith, a beloved member of our Turo community.
A devoted father to Kaushalya Madhavi, his presence will be greatly missed.
The final funeral rites will take place at the family home in Sri Lanka on Thursday, May 28th.
May he find peace in Nibbana. 🌸

We had the great joy of celebrating Vesak last weekend in St. John's, Newfoundland — a truly well-organized and well-attended occasion that filled our hearts with gratitude and inspiration.

Profound merits to all who made it possible: our devoted committee members, generous sponsors, and every individual who contributed their time and energy.
Such meaningful gatherings are only possible through selfless service, and we are deeply grateful.

Aniccā vata saṅkhārā - (Impermanent, indeed, are all conditioned things)
We are saddened to share the passing of Mr.Don Perly Munasinghe, beloved father of Manoja Munasinghe and father-in-law of Samith Rathnayake.

The final funeral rites will be held at the family home in Mathugama, Sri Lanka, on Tuesday, the 26th.
We hold the family close in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
May he attain the ultimate bliss of Nibbana. 🙏

Bhante Sirinanda is leaving for St. John’s, Newfoundland this weekend to join the Vesak 2026 Celebration hosted by the Newfoundland & Labrador Buddhist Association!

Last weekend was Toronto — and more celebrations are still to come this year! 🌸

We are deeply grateful to the NFL Buddhist Association and its wonderful leadership — Dulanjalee Iluksooriya and team, and Drs. Asoka and Mallika Samarasena — for their generous travel sponsorship. Much merits to all! 🙏
