Everyone is welcome to worship this Sunday, September 6th at our new service time of 10:30am. Rev. Emily Duggan is leading the service with a new series on Seeking Justice Together. This weeks focus is "Jesus Calls for Justice." We're delighted to have our director of music, Peter Thamer, back at the piano this week. Bring your bags with you as Rev. Jenny Eisener will lead a blessing of the bags (backpacks, work bags, all kinds!) Sunday school for those in pre-primary to grade 6 will be dismissed from worship. All are welcome, come as you are!

And just a reminder that this Sunday, Sept. 6th at 10:30am, is the Blessing of the Bags! 🎒👛💼 Bring your backpack, laptop, diaper bag, purse or tote to worship as we mark the new school year with prayer and remember that "God's got your back!"

Sunday School and Youth (KOGA) Registration - Register for the 2026-27 school year at St. John's United Church, Fall River.
Sunday school is for those in pre-primary to grade 6.
Youth Group (KOGA) is for those in grades 6-12.
(Grade 6s may choose where they feel most comfortable.)

Everyone is welcome to worship this Sunday, August 30th at 10am. Rev. Jenny Eisener will be leading the service sharing about "Holy Ground Moments." Abby Hanson will be at the piano accompanying the hymns. There's a spot for you in the pews, greeting at the door or singing in the choir. All are warmly welcome for this last service of the summer.

🎒✏📓The Lions Christmas Express committee would like to thank the St John's congregation for their support and contributions this year with school supplies. Due to the generosity of our community, 45 children aged 4-17 received backpacks and all the supplies necessary to start a brand-new year at school. In addition, the Cobequid Food security network provided each child with a bag of school snacks; a combination that will hopefully set the stage for a successful year.
