Our New Horizons Baptist Church Revival Choir, under the direction of Church Organist Sis. Tracey Daye and Minister of Music Sister Erin Jordan-Bartlett, did a phenomenal job during this weekend’s events for the Induction of Rev. Dr. Alfred J. Bailey II and First Lady Tracey Bailey! 🙌🏾

Their dedication, preparation and hard work truly paid off as they ministered through music with excellence and helped make this special weekend of worship and celebration so memorable.

We are grateful to every member of our choir for putting in the work, showing up, and using their gifts to glorify God. Your commitment to this ministry does not go unnoticed.

Our choir was also blessed to be joined on organ by James Dewitt “JD” Alston, minister of music at the New Psalmist Baptist Church, in Baltimore, Maryland.

What a weekend we had celebrating the induction of Rev. Dr. Alfred J. Bailey II and First Lady Tracey Bailey! 🎉

The weekend’s events confirmed that Dr. Bailey’s call to serve as the new Senior Pastor of New Horizons Baptist Church - moving from Baltimore, Maryland, to Halifax, Nova Scotia - was truly ordained by God. What a blessing to witness this new chapter unfold!

It was such a joy to welcome nearly 50 guests from the United States, including the son and both mothers of Pastor Al and First Lady Tracey and our former Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Rhonda Y. Britton.

And oh what divine messages Bishop Walter Thomas, Sr. and his son Rev. Dr. Walter Thomas, Jr., of New Psalmist Baptist Church, preached!

Your presence, along with that of our local guests and our own church family, helped make this induction an incredible and unforgettable celebration.

Pastor Al and First Lady Tracey, we pray that we will continue to shower you with the same love, support, and care that you experienced throughout this special weekend. Please know how deeply blessed we are to welcome you into the New Horizons Baptist Church family!

We thank God for this new season, for His divine direction, and for the wonderful things He has in store.
