Deacon Larry and Andi Oney were a conference favourite and they were the keynote speakers at our last and most powerful conference. They were wrapping up their missionary work in Africa last night when this happened. We encourage you to read the post and watch the video.

Today is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Is visiting her in Mexico City on your bucket list? Would you like to be there NEXT December for her Feast Day?
Grace Ministries for Women is delighted to announce that we will be travelling to Mexico City next year to join Johnnette Benkovic Williams’ Pilgrimage to Mexico City https://www.pilgrimages.com/womenofgrace/ . We can think of no better way to journey to Mexico City and experience Our Lady of Guadalupe!
A US$400 down payment secures your place in the pilgrimage. The rest of the payment will not be due until next year - 60 days before the departure date.
Some women have already made their down payments, so a group is definitely going! Johnnette’s tour company will work with us to ensure our group can travel together from Halifax.

In case you haven't heard - the Grace Ministries for Women Fall Retreat is Saturday, October 15th!

The day begins with mass at 9:00 am and will include a live, virtual talk from international, US-based, Catholic evangelist Barbara Heil, Founder, From His Heart Ministries. Barbara was to be our keynote speaker at the WOGFW conference in 2020, and now we finally have the opportunity to hear her!

Also, a great friend and supporter of the WOGFW conference, Duce Sylliboy, We’koqma’q, Cape Breton, will share with us her walk as a Catholic Miꞌkmaq woman.

Thanks to all for supporting our launch of Grace Ministries for Women https://www.ourladyofguadalupe.ca/grace-ministries-for-women! We had 119 women participate In-Person and Zoom in our spring retreat, with to-date, 337 You Tube views of our opening mass, 203 views of our morning session, and 497 views of our afternoon session featuring keynote speaker Andi Oney. Our In-Person community event held on Saturday hosted 35 women. We're already making plans for the fall and into next year, for our October 15th retreat, our outreach work that we hope to begin in northend Dartmouth, and other ideas we have to support women in their faith journey. This summer we hope to launch our ministry's own page. Please continue to keep us in your prayers!

Dear sisters-in-Christ,

We are delighted to launch Grace Ministries for Women with our Spring Retreat, In-Person & Virtual, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (St.Peter's Church), Dartmouth, Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Grace Ministries for Women, born from the Weekend of Grace for Women, will be based at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, as a year-round ministry for women. Through their technology and resources, we will be able to host both In-Person and Virtual events for women in the HRM and beyond. It will also allow us to have virtual keynote speakers from anywhere in the world. This new ministry will be led by Karen Williams.

The virtual keynote speaker for our Spring Retreat will be a Weekend of Grace for Women favourite - Andi Oney, Hope and Purpose Ministries, New Orleans.

We are in a time of hope and new beginnings. With the launch of Grace Ministries for Women, our mission remains the same - to bring women closer to Jesus. We are excited as we await to see where the Lord will lead us, through the promptings of the Holy Spirit and under the guidance of Our Lady. Please, remember to include us in your daily prayers.
