Celebrated 8 baptisms on Sunday! Our plan after summer baptisms was to host another baptism service closer to Christmas, but there were so many who were ready to enter the waters of baptism we had to schedule one earlier. God is up to stuff!!

Sooo many opportunities for you to find Jesus, grow in your faith, and discover community at Deep Water Church... here's just a few things happening:

Riptide Youth is back tonight!!! What tide?!?!

Alpha starts tomorrow, and it's a "come and see" evening... give it a try! But register so we can have dinner ready for you!

Pizza with the Pastors is happening after the 2nd service downtown this Sunday. We can't wait to meet you.

And another meal for newcomers on Oct 3, held off-site. Come meet a few of our DW people!

Next Steps classes begin on Oct 18th. Four short classes held over four Sundays, between gatherings, for you to get to know Jesus, our Deep Water community, and ministries.

Find it all at deepwaterchurch.com/events

There's too much to mention here, so you'd better subscribe to the Loop and/or the Woodlawn Times.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

Mondays at 7 PM.

GriefShare this past Monday, but it's not too late to join us.

Step Studies start this week!

What's a Step Study? It's the heart of the Celebrate Recovery program, where many victories are won and breakthroughs take place - a deeper dive into CR's 12 steps.

Thursdays at 7 PM at our North Street Location.

There are separate groups for men and for women. These groups will meet until approximately May 2027.

The purchase of a book for $35 is required. If that's a problem please talk to Colin.

Explore life's BIG questions. No matter who you are or what you believe, there's a place for you at Alpha. If you're new to the Christian faith or don't have a faith at all, but you do have lots of questions, Alpha is a fun, low-pressure environment. Each session includes a meal, a short film and small group discussions. And it’s all completely free!

Are there people in your life who are spiritually curious and looking for answers? Invite them to the Wed. Sept. 23rd kick-off night, a no commitment chance to experience what Alpha is like. Share this post and bring a friend.
