*Blessings of Maundy Thursday to All.*

Today is also a special day where most Christians of Kerala(India) make Pesaha Appam ( made from rice batter, A cross made using the palm leaves from Palm Sunday placed in the middle of the batter) and the head of the household cut and distributes among the family members.

Now if you still wondering what is *Pesaha* then it leads us to Jewish tradition->
Pesha, also known as Paschal meal, is a traditional Jewish meal that is eaten on the eve of Passover. The origins of the Pesha meal can be traced back to the time of the Exodus from Egypt, when the Israelites were commanded to sacrifice a lamb and smear its blood on their doorposts to protect themselves from the Angel of Death. They were also instructed to eat the lamb together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs, which came to be known as the Pesha meal.
Over time, the Pesha meal became an important part of the Passover celebration, symbolizing the Israelites' liberation from slavery in Egypt and their journey towards freedom. It is a time for family and friends to come together and share a special meal, retelling the story of the Exodus and reflecting on its significance.
