And that’s a wrap on all 9 weeks of Galilee’s Summer season!
What an amazing summer it has been. We give thanks to God for His protection, provision, and blessings as His Word was shared with so many campers.
A huge thank you as well to our incredible summer staff! They served tirelessly in roles ranging from the kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping, and lifeguarding, to program leadership and more. Camp simply doesn’t happen without servant-hearted individuals like them who are willing to dedicate their summer to faithfully serving God and giving Him all the glory.

Last Friday the Leadership crew also wrapped up their two weeks of camp! During the first week of intense Bible study, the topics looked at were:
“Wisdom” looking at Proverbs and Job
An in depth “How to study your Bible”
“Things I wish I knew when I was younger”
The second week was spent enjoying God’s creation in Algonquin Park! Astonishing views, awesome friendships and amazing memories made.

The first full day of camp is underway! Yesterday afternoon we welcomed the Leadership and Staff Training crew! Both sessions are packed with tons of excited campers which means the grounds have gotten louder, happier and there are Crocs everywhere!

Leadership camp consists of two weeks – the first week is spent in intentional study of God’s Word and training in camping/wilderness skills. The second week is spent on a 5 day canoe trip in Algonquin Park.

Staff training is a week long staff training program at the beginning of the summer to prepare younger staff for cabin leading / serving at camp.

At Galilee we teach children and families the Word of God in a fun and engaging way on a serene 80 acres of land surrounding Lake Galilee.
