The summer sessions drew to a close last Saturday with the end of Youth Camp! Teens ages 15 to 18 came for a week of faith-building and friendship. Many various games and activities and lots of free time filled up a portion of the day. Two blocks were dedicated to chapel sessions, where campers got to sing and hear from God's word through the testimonies of their cabin group leaders as well as through the messages from two speakers.

Saturday marked the end of our second and final Family Camp of the summer, leaving one more week to the season! Families joined us here at Galilee for a week of fun, faith and friendship.

Campers filled their time with swimming, boating, tournaments, volleyball and more! Every evening a special activity occurred, including campfires, a Family Feud Games night and a movie night. Chapel sessions brought to us worship and messages from God's Word.

Family Camp 1 came to a close this past Saturday, as families from the Ottawa Valley and beyond gathered here at Galilee for a week of fun, relaxation and a bit of friendly competition! We were also richly blessed with ministry from God's Word, hearing from Charles Price and Peter Bolton each day in our chapel sessions.

Many tournaments occurred throughout the week, including in Euchre, volleyball, pickle ball, Spike ball, ping-pong and more! Other activities included a baseball game, campfire songs and a corn roast, preparation for the Friday night Coffee House and the list goes on!

Another week of Day Camp has just wrapped up! Each day was full of fun activities, including plenty of bubbles, gagaball, wide games, swimming, colouring, nail art, and so much more! In our chapel times, the kids sang songs and learned Bible verses. They also listened attentively and watched as Bible stories came to life through detailed felt board presentations.

What a blessing the past week has been at Senior Boys Camp! Each day was filled with fun activities; there was never a dull moment for our campers!

The boys enjoyed daily electives where they learned different things such as archery, camping skills, Spikeball, lawn games, and card games. They also had a block of time each day for sports and special events (including large-scale versions of Stratego, Risk, Ticket to Ride, as well as a Galilee favourites like Commando)!

Chapel sessions for the boys occurred twice a day as they dove into the book of Daniel and looked at the lives of four ordinary men who remained faithful to God in the midst of the fire. Campers learned about what it takes to stand firm in their faith , no matter what situation God allows to take place in their lives.

Jr Boys and Jr Girls camps finished this past Saturday after a week full of fun and growth! Each day was compiled of many activities, including sports, electives, camp-wide board games... They even played a mysterious Clue game to solve the case of the missing dessert! Bible lessons, memory verses, songs and quiz shows were at the center of our individual morning and combined evening chapel sessions.
