ImpactHope

ImpactHope We are more than an organization! Join us! OUR HISTORY:
ImpactHope was established in 1992 and operated as Missionary Ventures Canada until 2021.

We're a movement of people who are actively committed to the cause of Jesus; to share the good news, fight poverty, alleviate suffering and bring freedom to the oppressed! OUR WORK:
Our work is at the grassroots level, working together primarily with national partners but also with North American partners. These partners assess the needs of the area and, together with the community, find appropria

te ways to address those needs. Through these partnerships, we support projects to address the needs of a community as identified by national leaders, solutions as developed by national leaders, and efforts to implement solutions as led by national leaders. Initially, our work was primarily in Guatemala focusing on education and the building of schools. Short-term teams of volunteers served and provided the material and extra hands to build several schools in the remote areas of Huehuetenango. Since then, our work expanded and we now focus our efforts on causes in nine countries, supporting a variety of locally identified needs. WHAT WE DO:
We work with Church and Christian leaders who are committed to following Jesus and seeing lives transformed by the gospel of Christ. We are committed to the WHOLE GOSPEL TO THE WHOLE PERSON! We seek to address 7 Causes: https://impacthope.ca/about/

To every hand that serves, heals, teaches, builds, and brings hope, thank you. 🩵

This Labor Day, we celebrate the people who use their gifts, skills, and time to make a difference in the lives of others.

At ImpactHope, we’re grateful for everyone who chooses to use their talents in service of others. Whether through everyday work or serving on mission, every act of service can become an opportunity to bring hope and create lasting impact.

Here’s to hands that serve with purpose.

Happy Labor Day from ImpactHope! 🇨🇦

Hello, September. 🩵

As we turn the page on another month, we pause to be grateful for everything August brought — the progress made, the lives touched, the prayers answered, and the people who continued to believe in what is possible.

Now, we step into September with renewed hope.

There is still much to do, but there is also so much to look forward to. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every helping hand becomes part of a larger story, one of compassion, restoration, and hope.

May this new month bring fresh opportunities to serve, new reasons to believe, and meaningful moments that remind us why we keep moving forward.

Here’s to a September filled with hope.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

We were never meant to walk alone. 🤍 Together, we can lift one another up, share the weight of difficult seasons, and bring hope where it is needed most.

At ImpactHope, we believe that when we come alongside communities with compassion, partnership, and practical support, lives can be transformed. Because together, we can do more and help one another rise.

Please pray for Kenscoff, Haiti 🇭🇹

Our hearts are broken by the devastating violence in Kenscoff, where our partner Fabienne and the OSPP team have faithfully served for years. Lives have been lost, homes and landmarks destroyed, and families are grieving.

We invite you to join ImpactHope in prayer. Pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones, protection for those still in danger, and peace and restoration for the community.

May God bring light, justice, and hope to Kenscoff in the midst of this darkness. 🇭🙏

Do you feel called to serve and bring light to some of the most vulnerable communities in the world? Join us to 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 — 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐬.

We are prayerfully gathering a small team for a mission trip to Iquitos, Peru in January 2027. We invite you to begin praying for this ministry and asking God if He may be calling you to be part of this journey.

Ministry opportunities may include:
• Children’s, street, and prison ministries
• Outreach to women, families, and communities in need
• Encouraging and training local caregivers
• Creating brighter, more joyful spaces for children
• Sharing hope with those who need it most
• Seeing and understanding the needs of the city

This trip is more than a mission. It’s a journey of compassion, connection, and transformation.

🙏 Could God be calling you to join us in Peru?

India is home to more unreached people groups than almost anywhere else on earth — communities with limited access to the Gospel, basic education, clean water, or proper medical care.

Our partner LOAM Ministries (Love One Another Ministries) is working to change that, one village at a time. Through church planting, pastoral training, and a mission school currently serving 115 students, LOAM has already helped plant 30 churches and trained 400 pastors across remote regions of India.

Their approach is holistic: meeting physical needs while building lasting community and spiritual foundations that can carry on for generations.

Stelia Macheke is a young mother of twins living in Katsekaminga Village, Malawi. Like so many families in rural Malawi, she knows the daily reality of relying on unprotected wells, water sources that too often carry illness instead of relief.

Poverty remains a serious challenge in Malawi, driven by limited agricultural productivity and few opportunities beyond farming. Alongside our partner Pastor Moses, ImpactHope is working to bring safe, sustainable water access to families like Stelia's.

Clean water isn't a luxury. For mothers like Stelia, it's the foundation everything else is built on: health, safety, and the chance for her children to simply be children.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” — Proverbs 31:8-9

This call to speak up isn't passive. It's active.

Every project ImpactHope supports is, in its own way, an answer to this call.

Thank you for being part of this ongoing act of advocacy through action.

Every act of generosity creates a ripple of hope. 🩵

Because of your support, lives are being changed, families are finding support, and communities are being strengthened.

The impact reaches far beyond what we can always see, and it begins with people like you. Thank you for making hope possible.

Childbirth should always feel safe — but for many women in Oaxaca, Mexico, limited access to quality medical care has made that harder than it should be.

Since 2011, Casa Compasiva has offered a different story: safe, compassionate, holistic maternity care for local families — regardless of their ability to pay. Hundreds of babies have taken their first breath there, surrounded by peace and skilled care.

As Casa Compasiva works toward becoming a model for maternal care across Mexico, your support helps make sure that safe birth remains possible for every mother who walks through their doors.
