What an incredible day celebrating 50 years of God’s faithfulness at Parkwood Gardens Community Church!
From sharing memories and looking through decades of photos, to signing our commemorative banner, enjoying cake, fellowship, and even a little cotton candy and more- it was a day filled with gratitude, laughter, and reflection.
The weather may have had other plans, but thanks to an amazing team of volunteers and a pivot, we were able to bring everything indoors and continue celebrating together without missing a beat.
A Remembrance Tree was planted on our church property, accompanied by a commemorative plaque. May it stand as a lasting reminder of God’s goodness, the generations who have gone before us, and the countless lives that have been impacted through this church family.
As we gathered with past and present members, we were reminded that while buildings, programs, and faces may change, God’s faithfulness remains constant.
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration possible and to all who have been part of Parkwood Gardens’ story over the past 50 years. Here’s to remembering God’s faithfulness and looking ahead with hope to what He has in store for the years to come.
