What if connecting with God this week doesn’t mean adding one more thing to your to-do list?

What if it means noticing what’s already there?

On Sunday we talked about the practice of wonder in our new series, I Feel Stuck.

Robyn issued a “challenge” to pick ONE of these practices this week.

Look up at the stars.
Notice a tree.
Notice the people around you.
Choose the human moment.
Savour your food.

Nothing complicated. Nothing to achieve. Just an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and wonder.

We may not always know who is behind the scenes making Sunday happen, but today we got to see a few of our Men of Light serving in a variety of ways.

Greeting. Coffee. Prayer. Helping wherever they were needed.

These men are already faithfully serving in countless ways. Today was simply another beautiful reminder of what happens when men are willing to say, “I’m here. How can I help?”

Thank you Men of Light (those pictured and all those who are not) for the way you serve our Lakeside family.

Timmy Boyle has spent 20 years and more than 1,500 live shows figuring out exactly how to make a room laugh - and now he’s bringing his clean, quick-witted, wildly entertaining stand-up to Lakeside.

- Storytelling that feels like you're hanging out with a very funny friend
- Observational humour that will have you seeing everyday life differently
