Membership as a Fellowship Baptist Church is always a dual membership with both a Fellowship Region and Fellowship National.

The Fellowship is a denomination of approximately 500 Evangelical Baptist Churches scattered across Canada, from the Yukon to the tip of Nova Scotia, united through our faith in Christ — working nationally and beyond our borders. The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada is a movement of approximately 500 local churches committed to common values
and mission, and connected by a Statement of Faith and Bylaws.

Frank Cole is a member at Main Street Baptist Church in Sackville, NB and has just recently joined our chaplaincy family as a Volunteer Corrections Chaplain. He visits with inmates at the Dorchester Penitentiary and is also a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association which opens up opportunities to share his faith journey. Pray that Frank would have purposeful conversations with those he meets and that he would have the joy of seeing individuals come to faith in Christ.

A test of their call to overseas ministry was how successful they were at living on $15 a week. That was the 60s but nevertheless a challenge. Some managed to have successful ministries even without formal theological training—those God calls, He equips one way or another! There were those who sacrificed much without seeing much return. Others were amazed at what God did with the little, or the lot, that they had to offer. They are part of the Fellowship's story. They are the people who heard God's call, trusted His voice and His direction, leaned on Him, learned at His feet, and passed on what they had been given. Whether it was on the mission field, in the church, as laypeople, or as "professionals" they are the Fellowship. Are you looking for an investment opportunity? Fellowship Employee chaplains have to raise their own support (like home missionaries) in order to devote their time to the chaplaincy ministry God has called them to. We have some new Employee chaplains who are just starting out on this fundraising adventure and could use some encouragement, as well as some of our older Employee chaplains who have seen donors have to curtail their support. On the morning of August 26, a deadly flash flood struck the Rasuwa and Dhading districts of Nepal. Hundreds have lost their lives and many more are missing.

FAIR is responding to this need through the Nepal Crisis Response appeal in partnership with the Nepal Baptist Church Council (NBCC). The NBCC has mobilized volunteers to establish relief camps in order to provide assistance to those impacted. Their immediate goal is to provide support to 500 households.

The Fellowship currently has over 175 chaplains serving in roughly 15 different ministry contexts. We have chaplains in 8 of the ten provinces and also in the Yukon. Are you the only believer where you work, in an organization that you are connected with, or in your neighborhood?

Every summer, EPIC + Onside gets ready to serve kids in communities across Canada. This wouldn’t happen without the dedicated staff who make it possible.

Before camp begins, the team gathers for a Staff Retreat to prepare their hearts through worship, God’s Word, prayer, and friendship. It’s a time to be renewed and reminded why they serve and, most importantly, Who they’re serving.
