I love gatherings like this. It may be a woman’s breakfast, a day retreat and or a weekend retreat. The laughter and sharing about what the Lord has done is encouraging to some.
As many know I love the Psalms. Psalm 27 is a favorite of mine, (along with a bible full.). Verse 1 says The Lord is my light and my salvation- so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why do I tremble. ? [I will leave it in the Lords hands]
Verse 4 - The one thing I ask of the Lord - the thing I seek most - is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lords perfections and meditating in His temple. [May you imagine meditating in the temple]
Verse 8 - My heart has heard you say, “come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, Lord I am coming. [imagine He wants to talk to me!]
Verses 13 & 14 - Yet I am confident I will see the Lords goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. [may I see his goodness and mercy come to fruition]
Thank you Jesus for what you are doing in our lives.

Petra Muschalle Roy and her daughter Marlee I first met a few years ago at a retreat. Marlee had talked to several of us about waiting for God to provide her with a husband. She had a list of what she wanted. A Christian man who loved the Lord and the Lord provided her with Luke several years later.
Petra has been involved with several of the retreats and becoming a great long distance friend of mine. One year she came with her young niece Sidney whom was almost a spitting image of my granddaughter. I know I am rambling, we meet some Women at the Well that become lifelong friends after the retreats have ended. The bonds that we form at these weekends well they hold us during our life struggles. We know the Lord heals. Marlee believes, Luke believes, Petra believes. I believe. Prayer works.
So many families are hurting.
Pray. The enemy creeps in and pray that they the enemy is destroyed and restoration begins within.

Girlfriend we do got this. Chin up and lets go to Women at the Well Retreat October 23-25. We will spend the weekend together on nice grounds, park the car, enjoy with other like minded women. Have quiet meals with no kids or animals around us. Why do we call it Good Friday. Would you be the one on the side cross knowing you have sinned and did not know your Heavenly Father or would you be the one that ask Jesus for the redemption that His Father offers to all through His son Jesus Christ.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.) and Ephesians 2:6 (and God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus).
