However we feel staying local allows for a better ability to work closely with suppliers to ensure the components used to build your Holy Cow Canoe are compatible and your canoe very well engineered. de from developing closer relationships with local suppliers, neighbors, and people that paddle our canoes, we have always believed there is a definite value in supporting the people that support us. There are many different methods used to build a canoe. Some are designed for speed and efficiency, or require less human effort, and others yet are designed to reduce the weight by a few pounds. Unfortunately employing most of these processes will create large amounts of waste that is non-biodegradable, or recyclable. As a result, we simply do not see the advantage in using many of these processes.
