On behalf of Rev. Ellie, thank you to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Hamilton for visiting St Luke’s on Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed introducing you to our church and our traditions. It was a pleasure for all of us to learn about Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at and the Islamic faith.

It was wonderful to see how we all recognize the need to rebuild “connection” within our community. All of us who attended learned something new from our time together. St Luke’s looks forward to continued opportunities to learn from each other; as well as, working together on projects that
help support the community of Smithville.

Assalamo Alaikum Rahmatullah!

Today following Fajr Namaz and breakfast, Hamilton Majlis was joined by Respected National Secretary Khidmat-e-Khalq to teach our Khuddam how to prepare and respond during natural disaster emergencies. The informative session covered a broad range of potential disasters and highlighted, among many other critical essentials, the need for tools and emergency supplies such as first aid kits, flashlights, non-perishable foods, and talked about physically mapping locations of all our Khuddam. In all cases, Khuddam are the pillars in emergency preparedness for the Jama’at and must lead the call to duty as first responders. The session ran for 1 hour at Baitun Nur Mosque with 18 total participants, 7 of those from Hamilton Majlis.

Alhamdulillah a team of 7 khuddam and 1 Tifl embarked on the Explore Islam Visitations to Smithville, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, between 11AM and 1PM
Alhamdulillah, a total of 8 people came through to have a look at the exhibition. Mayor Ganann, her Husband and 2 councillors (Bell and Joann) were in attendance and fully participated in discussions ranging from Islam, Catholicism, Christianity, local Politics and development in Smithville. A member of the St Luke’s Anglican Church was also in attendance. 3 members of the public also came through, one of whom worked with Ahmadies in China who were seeking refugee protection in Canada. Our Team set up pull up banners and displayed the literature of Jama’at. We gave out 6 gift packages containing the books “Life of Muhammed” and “World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace” as well as a mug and pen to 6 attendees. We also gifted 3 librarians each a gift package and donated a few books to the library.
Alhamdulillah this event was a success

Alhamdulillah a team of 4 khuddam 1 Nasir embarked on the Explore Islam Visitations to Port Colborne on Saturday, February 25, 2023, between 11AM and 1PM
Alhamdulillah, a total of 4 people came through to have a look at the exhibition.
Rev. Bart Coleman attended the exhibition alone, the Library Director and her co-worker, Susan and Amy and A passerby, Margaret
Teams set up, pull up banners and displayed the literature of Jama’at.
We gave out 2 gift packages containing the books “Life of Muhammed” and “World Crisis to both Rev. Bart Coleman and Director Susan. Various pamphlets were also tucked inside these gift bags. A box of chocolates was given to the library director as a small gesture of appreciation, including a mug. We had hot chocolate, donuts and tim bits from Tim Hortons available for any guests
Alhamdulillah, the event was a success!

Assalam u Alaikum wa rahmatulla,

By the grace of Allah on Friday, February 17, 2023 the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Hamilton donated much needed clothes and food to the Good Shepherd homeless men’s shelter at 135 Mary St in Hamilton. The men's shelter is part of the larger Good Shepherd Charity Organization who help those in need in Hamilton and they also have a presence in Toronto. 3 Khuddam went to drop off the donations. The donations will be sorted by Good Shepherd. The men’s clothes and some of the food items will remain at the men’s shelter and be provided to those in need at the men’s shelter immediately. Some of the clothes and food will be allocated to the Good Shepherd Venture Centre that helps all those in need including, men, women, children and families. All Good Shepherd centers help those in need for free.

The donation culminated weeks of planning, gathering and sorting which was done at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque on King st in Hamilton. The collection for clothes began 3 weeks prior and all donations were collected internally which in the final few days members sorted and bagged. In addition monetary donations we received from our members allocated for Good Shepherd were spent on purchasing non-perishable food items. By the grace of Allah we were able to collect 9 large bags of clothes and donated 3 large boxes of food. The donations came in good time as well as the temperature on Friday night dipped below -8 . On such cold nights the shelter goes over capacity and does not turn away men in need of shelter from the cold. In addition to the food and clothes, the members also donated $100 cash to the Good Shepherd Center which will be used to help those in Hamilton.

Assalam u Alaikum wa Rahmatulla,

Alhamdullilah, Yesterday 4 khuddam including murabi sb visited downtown hamilton to spread the message of islam.
During our efforts, 2 khuddam were posted infront of center city mall, where they hand out flyers and held a banner. A conversation was held with 6 people.
2 khuddam were posted on the opposite side of the intersection, where 1 conversation was held. Utmost prayers are requested for our Nazim e Tabligh, basit sb and his team to further the cause of Jamat e Ahmadiyya in Hamilton.

Assalam u Alaikum wa rahmatulla,

Alhamdullilah, khuddam ul Ahmadiyya hamilton took an initiated a young entrepreneurs program
Under this program, hamilton Khuddam held a food stall today. Alhamdullilah all the proceeds of the stall will go into the activities of khuddam ul Ahmadiyya Hamilton's.
This friday with 16 units, Alhamdullilah we sold them all with profit of $115 dollers.
We request continuous prayers for our programs in the future and hope to continue with different programs under the young entrepreneur program.
