Condolences to Fr. Jerry Lazoryk, his mother Ludmyla has passed away.

Бл. П. Луція Лазорик з д. Баран народилася 15.07.1944 р. у
Березці ліського повіту в родині Антіна та Катерини Баран як єдина дочка. Мала трьох братів Івана, Йосифа та Богдана. Батька депортували в Сибір де перебував до 60-их років. Після виселення з Мамою та братами опинилася в селі Болєшево б. Славна. Вчилася в Українській початковій школі в Білому Борі. Після повернення батька з Сибіру, з батьками, чоловіком й двійкою дітей виїхали на рідні землі до Ялового б. Устрік Долішніх. Згодом переїхали в село Угерці Мінеральні. З чоловіком дочекалися четверо дітей: Богдана, Ярослава, Катерини, Андрія, восьми онуків та семи правнуків. Упокоївся 05.06.2026 р. в Міську на 82 р. життя. Похорон передбачено в понеділок 08.06.2026 р. у Церкві Успення пресвятої Богородиці (ul. Szkolna 7) в Устріках Долішніх. Опісля довершення чину похорону на цвинтарі в селі Березка гміна Солина. В неділю 07.06.2026 р. Парастас год. 18:00. (Dom pogrzebowy Gerlach w Ustrzykach Dolnych, ul. Fabryczna 20).

The Young Catholic Professionals of Toronto is organizing an event in coordination with Fr. Tom Hrywna at St. Elias the Prophet Ukrainian Catholic Church in Brampton for young adults (ages ~25-40) on June 20th, entitled "An Introduction to the Eastern Catholic Churches." This is a wonderful opportunity for young Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian Catholic professionals to gather together, network, and learn more about the Byzantine Rite.

Prayer is powerful and I ask you all to join me in saying a prayer for our dear Mama who took a fall last night breaking her femur and requires surgery! Sonia Hucal

Loving God,
Place every worry and fear into Your hands. Heavenly Father, guide the hands of the surgeons, and grant them wisdom and precision.
Fill her with heart with calm and courage. Let this operation bring healing, restoration, and renewed strength, bringing her safely through to recovery.
Surround her with Your healing light!

Lord thank you for this day!
Our relationship with God is personal, but it is not private.
It must bear fruit in how we treat others, how we make decisions, how we serve the Church, how we carry burdens, and how we respond to the needs around us.
Touching on St. Ignatius of Loyola’s idea of finding God in all things. God is not found only in chapel, silence, or personal prayer. God is also encountered in work, relationships, conflict, service, obedience, suffering, and daily responsibilities.
“If my prayer is real, it should send me outward—with clearer love, deeper humility, better discernment, and greater service.”
For a priest, it means even more: the interior life is not kept for oneself. It becomes a source of pastoral charity. A priest does not pray only to feel holy; he prays so he can become more available to God and to the people entrusted to him.

What a blessing day to visit our Stella Small, who is 101, lives at St. Joseph Lodge in Gore Bay!!! Her memory is so good, she asked about Carol, Mary, Bill and so many other parishioners. And of course we concluded a visit with a prayer to the Mother of God, believe it, she sung it with me!!!! Wonderful moment. She says hello to all good friends of hers!!!!!
