Big thanks to Mary and Phil for restoring our doors to their beautiful best this summer. These parishioners gifted countless volunteer hours and genuine care to bring back the craftsmanship in our church entrance.

New to church? You're not alone in feeling a little nervous—but here's the beautiful thing: church is exactly where you do find your people. We'd love to welcome you. 💙

Inch by inch, row by row, gonna make this garden grow 🪴 Thank you to our amazing summer gardeners, this season has been truly fruitful!

Each summer, our women's bible study cultivates beautiful vegetables on the balcony, and every Sunday we harvest and sell everything that's ripe. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to , helping nourish our community when it matters most.

When the Sudbury–Manitoulin Deanery Choir travelled to Little Current to help Holy Trinity Anglican Church celebrate its 140th anniversary, they brought much more than music.

What began years ago as a group gathered for the Easter Vigil has grown into a vibrant ministry that connects Anglicans across the deanery through worship, friendship, and shared service.

Archbishop Anne Germond describes the choir as "a testimony to their desire to form community and proclaim the good news of Jesus in songs of praise, hope and lament."

The photos from their recent trip tell that story beautifully. Alongside the hymns and anthems are friendships nurtured over years, parish boundaries crossed, and a living example of what it means to be the Church together.

As many across the Diocese of Algoma continue to hold the family, friends, and colleagues of The Very Rev. Dr. Jay Koyle in prayer, we want to remind those who are unable to attend in person that Jay’s Memorial Service will be livestreamed by St. Paul's Cathedral.

The service will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Those wishing to participate online can access the livestream through St. Paul’s Cathedral London’s YouTube livestream page:

We give thanks for Jay’s faithful priesthood, generous spirit, wisdom, humour, and deep love for the Church and the people he served. Please continue to keep all who mourn his death in your prayers.

A historic symbol, renewed.

The Diocese of Algoma is pleased to introduce a restored rendering of its Coat of Arms, alongside a new family of logos designed to support clear and consistent communication across the life of the Diocese.

What began as a practical need—replacing a lost digital file—became an opportunity to thoughtfully renew a cherished symbol for contemporary ministry.

We are grateful to heraldic artist Quentin Peacock for his careful craftsmanship in bringing this work to life.
