Not everyone can join us in person for Mass. Some are homebound, caring for loved ones, working, travelling, or living far from our parish community.

That is why we continue to livestream our Sunday Masses. While watching online is not a substitute for being physically present when one is able, it is a beautiful way to stay connected to the prayers, scripture, and life of the parish.

These parishioners saw a need, asked if I was okay with it, and then went out and found people willing to volunteer their time, talents, and skills for the good of the parish.

This is exactly how a healthy parish works. It is not one person doing everything. It is people seeing what needs to be done, taking ownership, and generously sharing the gifts God has given them.

Thank you to everyone involved. Your willingness to step forward and serve helps strengthen our parish community in ways that often go unseen.

A special thank you to Monsignor Jim Hutton for looking after our parish while I was away. Your kindness, generosity, and steady priestly presence were deeply appreciated by so many people.

I think it is safe to say you have officially become an honorary Valley Boy.

Thank you again, Monsignor Jim, for taking such good care of our parish family. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues his ministry.

Congratulations to Delilah, Daisy, and Dawson on your Baptism today by Monsignor Jim Hutton.

Today is a beautiful day of grace as you were welcomed more deeply into the life of Christ and His Church. May God bless each of you abundantly as you continue to grow in faith, love, and joy.

I was sorry to miss the potluck that the St. Kevin’s Hospitality Team put together. From everything I’ve heard, it was a wonderful evening filled with good food, laughter, and community.

A special thank you to everyone who organized, cooked, set up, and cleaned up afterward. These gatherings may seem simple, but they are part of what makes a parish feel like a family.

I’m also glad Monsignor Jim Hutton got to experience a little of the hospitality and warmth that our parish is known for.

A sincere thank you to Denis for repairing the walkway at Our Lady of Peace and removing the damaged concrete slabs that had become a safety concern.

So much of what keeps a parish running well happens quietly behind the scenes through the generosity of parishioners willing to step up and help. Your hard work, time, and care for the parish are truly appreciated.

Thank you, Denis. It does not go unnoticed.
