Taste of Home potluck is THIS SUNDAY, September 6! We are so excited to see you!

Not sure what to bring?

Bring a favourite food from your culture or background that reminds you of home - enough to share with at least 6 people. Drop it off in the kitchen and fill out a description card when you get here.

Bring lawn chairs if you have them, as we have limited seating available.

Bring yourself (and your family/friends if you have them here), join in the service and, afterwards, enjoy the delicious food together as a CFA church family!

Jesus is inviting you closer.

Not because you have the right words.
Not because you’ve got it all together.
Not because you’ve earned your way into His presence.

Just come.

Come with your questions.
Come with your needs.
Come with your hopes.
Come with your disappointments.

Come with shameless audacity.

Jesus welcomes bold prayers. Persistent prayers. Honest prayers. The kind of prayers that refuse to give up because we know Who we’re coming to.

So don’t just watch this Reel.
Engage with Jesus.

Pause.
Pray.
Ask.
Listen.
Come boldly.

What would it look like for you to approach Jesus with shameless audacity today? 🙏

What if the problem isn’t that we don’t pray… but that we’ve forgotten why we pray?

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He wasn’t simply giving them words to memorize. He was inviting them into relationship.

“Our Father…” isn’t just the beginning of a familiar prayer. It’s a reminder of who we’re talking to — a Father who knows us, cares for us, and wants us to come close.

It’s easy for prayer to become routine. Words we say. A box we check. Something we do because we know we should.

But what if we slowed down enough to actually think about what we’re saying — and Who we’re saying it to?

Maybe the question isn’t just, “Do I pray?”

Maybe it’s, “Do I remember why?”

Tomorrow is Camp Shirt Sunday! We are celebrating all the great things God did over the last week at camp! If you have worked at camp and have a shirt, make sure you wear it!

This Sunday (August 2, 2026) will look a little different... and we think that's something worth celebrating. ❤️

Many of our amazing Kids Connection volunteers are spending the week serving at camp—pouring into the lives of children and students, building relationships, sharing the love of Jesus, and creating memories that can last a lifetime.

Because of that, there will be no Kids Connection this Sunday, and children will join their families in the main service.

We'd love for you to join us in praying for every camper, leader, and volunteer this weekend. We believe God is doing something special. 🙏

Not everyone is called to be a camp counselor.

But everyone can help make camp happen.

This summer we're inviting our church family to come alongside our camp team by serving in practical ways—preparing meals, helping with setup and cleanup, moving equipment, or lending an RV for our staff and speakers.

These may seem like small acts of service, but they make a huge difference. Every task you take on allows our leaders to spend more time doing what they've been called to do: building relationships, encouraging students, and pointing them toward Jesus.

If you have a few hours to give, we'd love to have you on the team.

Let's serve together and invest in the next generation.

We are specifically looking for people to help load up at the church on Monday, July 27th at 6:00 pm, and help us take it out to camp and set up the kitchen. Then again on August 3rd (When camp is done) meet at camp, load up the trailer and move it back to the church. If you are able, please send us a message.

Pastor Glenn’s message on Sunday reminds us that Jesus calls ordinary people into an extraordinary partnership.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus sent ordinary people with an extraordinary mission.

They didn't have influence.
They didn't have wealth.
They didn't have a platform.

They simply trusted Jesus enough to go.

The question is this…

When Jesus says, "Go"... what will your answer be?

⬇️ Let us know what stood out to you during this week's message.

Does our view of discipleship need to change?

This Sunday, Pastor Steve challenged us with a truth that isn’t always easy to hear.

Discipleship is costly

It’s often less like an amputation—where everything is cut off instantly—and more like a skin graft. Painfully, patiently, layer by layer, Jesus is transforming us.

Discipleship is about Jesus

Following Jesus takes the intentional discipline of being both with Him and becoming like Him.

Pastor Steve shared a few places to start:

Solitude
Silence
Study
