UPDATE FOR TOMORROW, SUNDAY, JULY 12! On the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Apostles "Peter and Paul" there will be a Divine Liturgy tomorrow, July 12, at the church of "St. Peter and Paul" in North Star AB, near Manning. Many of our parishioners will be there and the Typika at the church in Grande Prairie has been CANCELLED for tomorrow, July 12, Sunday.

Services with Fr John Castillo THIS WEEKEND HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. These services will be rescheduled. Our next services with a priest are now:

Directions to the church in Spirit River: Spirit River

Holy Trinity Church

From Grande Prairie, go North to Rycroft on Hwy 2. Turn left (West) & go 16 km on

Hwy 49 thru Spirit River. At the intersection of Hwy 49 & Sec Hwy 727, turn right (North),

go 14 km (you have to pass 2 creeks) to Road #794 & then turn right (East). Go 2 km.

Services in June:
Fr Seraphim Bohatskyi will be here Friday/Saturday, June 5 and 6.
There will be a Vespers or Vigil service Friday evening at 5pm, and Divine Liturgy Saturday morning at 9:30am.

Please, if you are able to come Friday night to confess, it means less confessions must be done during the Divine Liturgy :)

Other services in June will be reader services (without a priest).
Akathist is every Wednesday at 5pm (a short prayer service) and
Typika every Sunday that we do not have a priest. Typika begins with the Hours at 9:30am.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO TYPIKA SUNDAY, June 7th, but feel free to drive out to Spirit River where Fr Alexei is celebrating the Divine Liturgy.

We also try to mark the Feasts, even when we do not have a priest, and those services will be announced on this page as well :)

Services in May:
This Sunday, May 24th we will have Typika (a reader's service) beginning at 9:30am, followed by our AGM and a potluck.

Next Sunday, May 31st is the Feast of Pentecost. We will not have a priest, but will mark the Feast at Typika, and also have a picnic after, at a location TBD.

Akathist is every Wednesday at 5pm (a short prayer service) and
Typika every Sunday that we do not have a priest. Typika begins with the Hours at 9:30am.

Christ is Risen!

Well, Fr Maximus and his family, after two lovely months and a beautiful Pascha have returned to Ontario.
We are so grateful for the time they spent with us!

for the next few months, we have a schedule and a few other options for those who are planning to come and see and join us in worship:

For the month of May, we have no more services with a priest, but we have:
