Parking fundraiser is happening at St. John’s By-the-Lake today! It begins at noon.

The church service was a true celebration today.

The sanctuary was beautifully decorated with the colours of fire inspired by the tongues of fire as which the Holy Spirit came to rest on the disciples at Pentecost.

Flames of fire were lit beneath a chime and balloons, creating motion in the air around them.

Even many of the congregants wore the colours of fire, including Reverend Jim who started out wearing his red barbecuing apron!

And then, following the service, the celebration continued with fire roasted burgers and sausages.

God is good.
