“This bread is not ordinary bread, but the Body of Christ.” — St. John Damascene

Long before modern debates about the Eucharist, the early Christians believed what Catholics still believe today: that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.

On this Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we celebrate the incredible gift Christ left His Church at the Last Supper. Not merely a symbol. Not merely a reminder. But His true Body and Blood given for the life of the world.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life because it is Jesus Himself who comes to nourish, strengthen, and transform us.

May we never take for granted the privilege of receiving our Lord in Holy Communion.

Jesus didn’t just give us something.

He gave us Himself.

On June 6, 1944, more than 14,000 Canadians landed on the beaches of Normandy. The Allied D-Day invasion was one of the most pivotal moments of the Second World War.

Facing heavy enemy fire and impossible conditions, Canadian soldiers fought with extraordinary courage to help liberate Europe from German occupation. More than 350 Canadians lost their lives that day, and hundreds more were wounded.

Today, we remember the bravery and sacrifice of all those who served on D-Day and throughout the Battle of Normandy. Their courage changed the course of history.

Lest we forget.

This is Valencia, Spain on Corpus Christi. I love this picture. It’s like a peek into heaven’s celebration and I wish we had something like this in Boston, New York, Washington and every single town in our country. And maybe someday we will have our own “Valencia” Procession. If you’re going to dream, you might as well dream big!

St Theresa Parish loves campers!

Sometimes we hear comments from visitors to the campground that they can't attend Mass at St Theresa because they don't have "good clothes."
You are welcome at St Theresa in jeans, tee shirts, sweats and hoodies! God loves you just as you are!
Be discrete with beachwear. And we encourage gentlemen to remove hats.
