On this Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, our First Holy Communion candidates played an important role in the celebration of the Mass. With enthusiasm and reverence, they proclaimed the readings, led the Prayer of the Faithful, brought forward the gifts, and assisted with the collection.

This beautiful feast, celebrating Jesus' Real Presence in the Eucharist, was a fitting occasion for the children as they prepare to receive Holy Communion for the first time. As Jesus tells us, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger” (John 6:35).

The children also joyfully sang God Is So Good, sharing their faith and excitement with the parish community.

The celebration continued in the afternoon as the children returned for their First Holy Communion preparation session. The day concluded with a joyful social gathering where the children and their parents enjoyed fellowship, refreshments, and time together as they look forward to this special sacrament.

We continue to pray for our First Holy Communion candidates and their families as they prepare to receive Jesus for the first time. May their hearts be filled with joy and anticipation as they hear His invitation: “Let the little children come to me” (Mark 10:14).
