Glencoe/Appin Pastoral Charge is a single point charge within the United Church of Canada. The congregation meets within the municipality of Southwest Middlesex, in Southwestern Ontario. Come and explore the Gospel of Matthew at Trinity and St John's at 11 am Sunday, August 23. You may find a whole new way of looking at familiar passages.
Next week we join our West Lorne and Tyrconnell families at St Stephen's Church, Burwell Park, at 10 am. Car pool rides will leave Glencoe at 9:15 am. Worship will be followed by a potluck picnic. There will be no 11 am worship at Trinity United and St. John's Anglican Church - Glencoe, Ontario on August 30.

As promised, we are marking Emancipation Day this week. How can we turn our feelings of sadness, guilt, anger, and any other emotion brought forth on days like these, into action and purpose to fight for justice and peace among all people. It's a big ask, but it can also be as simple and small as one act of kindness. We can each do one small thing. We can make a difference.
