Christ Church, Aylmer Christ Church Aylmer is a welcoming Anglican congregation in the Aylmer sector of Gatineau. Our church is located at the corner of Symmes St.

We are part of the Parish of the Holy Spirit and the Diocese of Ottawa Christ Church, Aylmer, is the Anglican Church in the Aylmer Sector of the city of Gatineau. We are part of the Diocese of Ottawa and the Deanery of Clarendon, which includes much of Western Quebec. and Frank-Robinson St. We worship every Sunday in a very historic building, constructed in 1858. Our Sunday service is a lively Choral Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. with a mix of traditional and contemporary music.

Alison Murphy and friends are organizing an emergency bake sale this week to support Rob Taylor, who remains in hospital.

The sale will take place on Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23rd inside Les Galeries d’Aylmer (across from Dollarama). They are currently looking for volunteers to help with baking and donations of baked goods.

Funds raised will go toward essential home repairs needed before Rob’s house can be rented on July 1st, helping to ease some of the financial pressure during this difficult time.

A gentle reminder to our church community that the funeral for our dear friend and treasurer, Bob Wilson, will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Aylmer. A reception will follow the service.

Bob was a valued and faithful member of our parish family, and we invite all who knew him to join us as we gather in remembrance, thanksgiving, and prayer.
