The Cathedral is located towards the east end of downtown Fredericton on the corner of Brunswick Street and Church Street, and is a prominent feature on the city's skyline. Sunday: 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. Choral Evensong (rotating Sundays at 4 p.m. - check the calendar at cccath.ca)

These sessions are simple and straightforward, comprising a "Celticky contemplative cocktail" of prayer, reflection, meditative listening to music, and sacred listening to one another. It is a very gentle, quiet, inviting, and welcoming format; and each session is standalone, so please come along if you are interested. With the liturgical Season of Creation beginning in September, Primate Shane Parker reflects on God’s work in the intricacies and interdependencies of nature—and in human lives.

We're eagerly anticipating the Primate's visit to our Cathedral on Sunday, September 27!

I was in the diocese of the Yukon in June for the consecration of Bishop Vincent Fenga and discussions with clergy and lay ministers. The visit was nostalgic as my family had once lived in that diocese, surrounded by boreal forest near the confluence of the Muskwa, Prophet and Fort Nelson rivers.

The Season of Creation starts on Tuesday! 🌎🌿💦 (September 1 - October 4)

How will you take part in the Season of Creation this year?

From 1 September to 4 October, Christians around the world will come together to celebrate God as Creator and reflect on our shared calling to care for creation.

There are many ways to take part:

🙏 Prayer and worship
Give thanks for the gift of creation and reflect on our responsibility to care for it.

📣 Advocacy
Raise awareness of issues including climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental justice.

🌱 Action
Take part in practical projects in your church or community, from caring for local green spaces to planting trees.
