Today is the feast of St. Augustine in Hippo. I remember when I first read him in a secular college class. Its like this whole world of Christian Wisdom and the life with God opened up before me that I had never seen before. Praise God for his life and witness.

Once a year we go back to the missionary roots of our parish and do a service at Holy Cross Chapel on the museum grounds of Fort St. John. This year we will gather at 4 PM on Wednesday July 22.
