Baptism isn’t a declaration that we’ve got it all figured out—it’s a declaration of who we’ve chosen to follow. 🌊

As we listened to each testimony this past Sunday, there was a common thread: no one stood there claiming to be perfect. Each story was different, but every person was choosing to trust Jesus and continue the journey with Him.

And that’s the beautiful thing about Jesus. He meets us right where we are. We don’t have to clean ourselves up or have all the answers before coming to Him. He takes us as we are and invites us to walk with Him as He continues to shape us, grow us, and make us more like Him.

What a beautiful picture of what baptism is—saying, “Jesus, I’m choosing to follow You.” 💙

The rain may be changing our location, but it’s definitely not stopping the fun!

Our Church Picnic is moving to Trinitylife Church! 🙌

We’re still looking forward to a special morning together, including baptisms, worship, a fun beach theme, BBQ, games, and lots of time to connect as a church family. 🌊☀️🍔

Come ready to celebrate what God is doing, enjoy some good food, have some fun, and spend a meaningful time together in community.

What does it look like to become a community shaped by Jesus?

A church where we care for one another’s needs. Where the peace of Christ gets the final word. Where, often quietly and over time, Christ is at work within each of us—shaping us to become more like Him.

This is what it looks like to be a people who are becoming.

In what ways have you seen Jesus work His way into your life?

One way I’ve seen it is in how I treat people. There was a time when I would feel entitled or justified in being angry with people who had hurt me. But now, I’ve had moments where I find myself in a similar situation and realize, “In the past, I would have gotten so angry about this.” Instead, I find myself naturally feeling the need to forgive.

That’s not to say I’m always perfect at this—I’m definitely not. But moments like these remind me that there is a God who walks alongside me, patiently working in my life and helping me, over time, to become more like Jesus.
