Come and hear this fascinating presentation about a movement and new college that is seeking to address our collapsing culture and shrinking church with the best of Western Culture and an immersion in Scripture and the Lutheran faith. At St. John’s Lutheran Church – Snyder. Sunday, August 18th, right after the Divine Service. A potluck meal will accompany the presentation. You are welcome to bring something to share.
The president of the Luther Classical College, Rev Dr. Harold Ristau, will discuss the problems in public education today, and renewed interest in classic forms of education. His presentation is entitled “Wokeism and the demise of education: how Luther Classical College is a solution”. He will introduce his new college and discuss how it is an alternative to much that is wrong in secondary education today. Considering our youth are the leaders of the future, ensuring that they remain solidly Lutheran and critically minded is essential to the survival and mission of our synods, and life within the three estates.
The college is breaking ground this Summer on the new campus on a beautiful tract of land at the foot of Casper Mountain in Wyoming.
