Today marks the beginning of the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In his pastoral letter, Resting in the Heart of Jesus, Bishop Joseph Dabrowski, CSMA, invites us to draw nearer to the Heart of Christ — a heart of mercy, compassion, and faithful love.

You may have heard this letter read by your pastor during the homily this past weekend. Now, as we enter the Month of the Sacred Heart, we invite you to revisit the pastoral letter and journey with us throughout June.

Read the letter, and explore prayers, reflections, and resources for the Month of the Sacred Heart:

Noon our time!

In response to Pope Leo XIV's call, the Vatican will host a Prayer Vigil for Peace on April 11 at 6 pm (Rome time) at St. Peter’s Basilica, which the Holy Father himself will lead. The Pope had announced a Prayer Vigil for peace and invited “men and women of goodwill across the world” to join him in prayer for peace during his general audience on Wednesday, April 8. On the same day, the pope had also welcomed the ceasefire in the Middle East "with satisfaction and as a sign of deep hope.” Addressing pilgrims gathered at St. Peter’s Square, the Pope emphasized that only renewed negotiations can end the conflict. He also urged world leaders to return to dialogue and called everyone “to accompany this time of delicate diplomatic work with prayer.”
