For years Hannah carried the same grief.

For years she prayed.
For years she worshipped.
For years, nothing seemed to change.

But she kept walking with God.

Faith gets harder when you’ve prayed the same prayer a hundred times and heaven still seems quiet.

Hannah reminds us that silence isn’t a reason to stop.

Keep praying. Keep worshipping. Keep trusting.

Sometimes the answer is no.

But sometimes the answer is wait.

Hannah prayed for years. She worshipped while she waited. She kept bringing her grief to God even when nothing seemed to be changing.

If you’re praying about something right now and wondering if your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling, keep praying.

God’s silence does not mean He isn’t listening.

“Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” — Psalm 116:2

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us serve supper at Harvest House tonight!

From those who dropped off food donations, to everyone who prepped and cooked, served the meal, and stuck around for cleanup. Like a well oiled machine you made it look easy!

We’re so grateful for everyone who gave their time, food, and energy to help us serve the community. We’ll have another opportunity in a few weeks so keep an eye out for the sign up sheet.

Encounter at Kingswood is a great weekend for students in grades 9-12 to encounter Kingswood and more importantly encounter God. Let us know if you know of a student that might be interested in attending.

November 6 & 7, we’re inviting high school students to Kingswood University for a weekend designed to encounter Jesus and have a whole lot of fun.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Moe Diggs as our Encounter speaker! PLUS we’ve got some pretty special Friday night entertainment planned.

Prayer isn’t about finding the right words. It’s about learning the heart of our Father.

The disciples had seen Jesus heal the sick, calm storms, cast out demons, and raise the dead. Yet the one thing they asked Him to teach them was how to pray.

Why?

Because they recognized that everything Jesus did flowed from His relationship with the Father.

This past Sunday we looked at the Lord’s Prayer and discovered that Jesus wasn’t simply giving us words to memorize, He was inviting us into a relationship. Prayer begins with “Our Father,” moves through surrender to God’s kingdom, and reminds us of our daily dependence on His provision and grace.

If you missed Sunday’s message, I’d encourage you to spend a few minutes reading Luke 11:1–13 and praying through the Lord’s Prayer slowly. Don’t rush it. Let each phrase teach you something about the God who invites you to call Him Father.

“Lord, teach us to pray.” (Luke 11:1)

📢 Join Us for a Potluck Celebration in Honour of ⭐️Pastor Brian Murray⭐️

As we prepare to welcome our new pastoral family, we also want to take time to express our heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Brian Murray.

SAVE THE DATE 📆 This Sunday, July 12th, will be Pastor Brian’s final Sunday serving as our interim pastor after faithfully leading Trinity Wesleyan Church over the past nine months during our pastoral search. His steady leadership, biblical teaching, encouragement, and genuine care for our church family have been an incredible blessing.

Pastor Brian has served Trinity in many ways over the years, and we are deeply thankful for his willingness to once again answer God’s call to shepherd our congregation during this important season of transition.

➡️ Following the morning service, everyone is invited to stay for a POTLUCK lunch as we honour Pastor Brian, thank him for his faithful service, and wish him God’s richest blessings in the days ahead.

Whether you’ve been part of Trinity for years or have joined us more recently, we invite you to come and help us celebrate a man who has invested so much in our church family.
