Thank You, Armour's Meat Ltd

We want to give a huge shout-out to Armour Meats for generously donating a case of hot dogs to support our Mac & Cheese Mondays ministry!

Every Monday, we have the privilege of feeding the senior high students at Carleton North High School, and it’s such a joy to see this meal become more than just food. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, make connections, and let students know that their community cares about them.

Generosity like this makes a huge difference. Thank you, Armour Meats, for helping us love and serve the students in our community!

We’re grateful for local businesses who see a need and step up to help meet it. Thank you! ❤️

Celebrating an Answer to Prayer 👏

Tomorrow after church, we’re gathering at Mark and Vicki’s place for a time of fellowship and celebration. (We'll share directions after church)

Many of us have been praying for Jill for quite some time, and we are so thankful for the way God has answered those prayers. We want to take some time together as a church family to celebrate what God has done and give Him thanks.

There will be corn and hot dogs, and you’re welcome to bring something to share if you’d like. It’s short notice, but we’d love for you to join us!

And a special thank-you to Vicki for putting this together. This is exactly the kind of church culture I love seeing! People who genuinely care about one another, pray for one another, and take the time to celebrate together when God answers those prayers.

Youth Group Is Starting!

Trinity Wesleyan Youth Group kicks off Sunday, September 13 from 6:30–8:00 PM!

All students in Grades 6–12 are invited. Come hang out, have some fun, build friendships, and grow together in faith.

Know a student who might be interested? Spread the word and invite them along!

For years Hannah carried the same grief.

For years she prayed.
For years she worshipped.
For years, nothing seemed to change.

But she kept walking with God.

Faith gets harder when you’ve prayed the same prayer a hundred times and heaven still seems quiet.

Hannah reminds us that silence isn’t a reason to stop.

Keep praying. Keep worshipping. Keep trusting.

Sometimes the answer is no.

But sometimes the answer is wait.

Hannah prayed for years. She worshipped while she waited. She kept bringing her grief to God even when nothing seemed to be changing.

If you’re praying about something right now and wondering if your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling, keep praying.

God’s silence does not mean He isn’t listening.

“Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” — Psalm 116:2

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us serve supper at Harvest House tonight!

From those who dropped off food donations, to everyone who prepped and cooked, served the meal, and stuck around for cleanup. Like a well oiled machine you made it look easy!

We’re so grateful for everyone who gave their time, food, and energy to help us serve the community. We’ll have another opportunity in a few weeks so keep an eye out for the sign up sheet.

Encounter at Kingswood is a great weekend for students in grades 9-12 to encounter Kingswood and more importantly encounter God. Let us know if you know of a student that might be interested in attending.

November 6 & 7, we’re inviting high school students to Kingswood University for a weekend designed to encounter Jesus and have a whole lot of fun.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Moe Diggs as our Encounter speaker! PLUS we’ve got some pretty special Friday night entertainment planned.
