St. John the Evangelist Church is excited to be part of the Flinton Festival on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As part of the celebration, we will be hosting a Bake Sale to raise funds in support of our church.
We are asking all of our wonderful parish bakers to help us by preparing your favourite homemade goodies โ€” cookies, squares, pies, breads, muffins and more are all welcome!
Your baking talents will make our table a highlight at this event.

This will also be a wonderful opportunity to share the history of our parish with the community. St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church is the oldest church still in operation in Flinton and will be celebrating 153 years this summer.
What a blessing and a legacy to celebrate!

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Bake Sale table during the festival. If you are able to donate baking or spare an hour (or two) to assist that day, it would be greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful day at our Church Market Fundraiser!

Despite forecasts predicting rain, we were blessed with only a few light sprinkles and even some sunshine throughout the day. Once again, the weatherman wasn't quite rightโ€”and we're certainly not complaining!

A huge thank you to all of our vendors who joined us and helped make the market such a success. We are also deeply grateful to the many vendors, parishioners, and local residents who generously donated items for our raffle.
Your support and generosity are truly appreciated.

A special thank you as well to the parishioners and local residents who volunteered their time and lent a helping hand throughout the day. From setting up and serving refreshments to selling raffle tickets, welcoming visitors, and helping with cleanup, your willingness to pitch in made all the difference.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to support our fundraiser. We know there were other events taking place today, and we are so thankful that you chose to spend part of your day with us. Every purchase, raffle ticket, donation, conversation, and word of encouragement helped make the event special.

St. John the Evangelist Church is excited to be part of the Flinton Festival on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As part of the celebration, we will be hosting a Bake Sale to raise funds in support of our church.
We are asking all of our wonderful parish bakers to help us by preparing your favourite homemade goodies โ€” cookies, squares, pies, breads, muffins and more are all welcome!
Your baking talents will make our table a highlight at this event.

This will also be a wonderful opportunity to share the history of our parish with the community. St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church is the oldest church still in operation in Flinton and will be celebrating 153 years this summer.
What a blessing and a legacy to celebrate!

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Bake Sale table during the festival. If you are able to donate baking or spare an hour (or two) to assist that day, it would be greatly appreciated.

You may start noticing some Little Jesus figures around our churchโ€ฆ and maybe even around the village too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Beginning this season, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will have little Jesus figures available at the church and at our community events.

๐Ÿ™ Take one for yourself as a small reminder that Jesus is with you each day.
๐Ÿค Keep it in your pocket, your car, on your desk, or at home.
โœจ Or pass it on to someone who may need a little encouragement, a smile, or a reminder that they are loved.

St. John the Evangelist Church is excited to be part of the Flinton Festival on Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As part of the celebration, we will be hosting a Bake Sale to raise funds in support of our church.
We are asking all of our wonderful parish bakers to help us by preparing your favourite homemade goodies โ€” cookies, squares, pies, breads, muffins and more are all welcome!
Your baking talents will make our table a highlight at this event.

This will also be a wonderful opportunity to share the history of our parish with the community. St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church is the oldest church still in operation in Flinton and will be celebrating 153 years this summer.
What a blessing and a legacy to celebrate!

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Bake Sale table during the festival. If you are able to donate baking or spare an hour (or two) to assist that day, it would be greatly appreciated.
