Grateful to have Archbishop Susai Jesu, OMI make his first pastoral visit to St. Ann’s Parish on this Feast of Corpus Christi. Many volunteers pulled together an informal BBQ after Mass and fun was had by all. We look forward to many more years with our new Shepherd! A special thanks to all our volunteers who made this weekend as beautiful and memorable as it was.

Heavenly Father,

On this D-Day Remembrance, we give thanks for the courage, sacrifice, and selfless service of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy in the cause of freedom and peace.

May those who gave their lives rest in Your eternal embrace. Comfort the families who carried their loss, and inspire us to be faithful stewards of the liberty secured at such great cost.

Grant us the wisdom to pursue peace, the courage to stand against injustice, and the grace to remember that true freedom is found in serving one another in love.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Some burdens are simply too heavy to carry alone. Faith does not promise that we will control every outcome, but it does remind us that we are never without hope, guidance, or grace. In prayer, we place into God’s hands the worries we cannot solve and discover the peace that comes from trusting we are held even in uncertain times. 🙏

A picture indeed speaks a thousand words, and this one radiates joy and hope. Archbishop Susai Jesu, OMI, our newly appointed archbishop, has had the privilege of meeting Pope Leo XIV in Rome, marking the beginning of a promising new chapter. Their warm smiles inspire us to pray for Archbishop Susai and our Holy Father, filling our hearts with optimism and faith in a brighter future.
