Gentle Shepherd Community Church - Grey County Gentle Shepherd Community Church - Grey County is a community of evangelical believers whose mission is to make disciples/apprentices of Jesus Christ.

Happy Monday!! 📆❤️

What a blessing it was to gather together as a church family yesterday!

We were reminded of the incredible gift of God's grace and how it not only forgives us but transforms us. Grace was compared to soap and water—it cleanses us, washes us clean, and changes us from the inside out. As we spend more time with the Lord and in His Word, our hearts begin to change. We develop a hunger for Him, and that inward transformation begins to bear fruit in our lives.

We were also encouraged by the truth that God's grace gives us strength in our weakness. We have all experienced valleys, hardships, and difficult seasons, but it is through His grace that we are sustained. As Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."

During the children's message, we heard about self-control, reminding us that grace not only saves us but also teaches us how to live. Through God's grace, we learn to walk in obedience and grow more like Christ each day.

How is your week going so far?

As we move through the busyness of work, family, and daily responsibilities, take a moment to remember the truth of Ephesians 2:8-10. We are saved by grace through faith—a gift from God—and we are His workmanship, created for the good works He has prepared for us.

What a comfort to know that we don't have to strive to earn God's love. Instead, we can walk confidently in the purpose He has given us, looking for opportunities to reflect His love and grace to those around us each day.

As you finish out the week, may you be encouraged by the fact that God is still at work in you and through you. ❤️

Vacation Bible School is just under one month away!🤩

Join us July 6–10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a fun-filled week of Bible lessons, games, crafts, music, snacks, and more as we share the love of Jesus with children in our community✝️

Now is the time to help spread the word! Invite your children, grandchildren, neighbours, friends, and classmates. We want to reach as many kids as possible with the good news of Christ. So let's get ALL the kids signed up!

As we begin a new week, we thank God for the opportunity we had to gather together in worship yesterday.

We were blessed to hear from Pastor Emeritus Don Prince, who reminded us of the importance of continuing to trust God and remain teachable as we walk by faith. Looking at Numbers 21:1-9, we were encouraged to keep our eyes fixed on the Lord and trust in His provision and faithfulness.

During Communion, we were reminded of the glorious hope we have in Christ and the promise of His return. What a joy it is to know that our hope is secure in Him!

If you are facing challenges this week, remember that you are not alone. God has given us the Body of Christ to encourage, support, and pray for one another. Reach out to a fellow brother or sister in Christ if you need prayer or encouragement.

May God's grace and peace be with you this week ❤️

We look forward to worshipping together this morning at 10:30 AM. Today we will be celebrating Communion as we remember the sacrifice and love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
