Today marks Pentecost Sunday in our church calendar. Pentecost comes exactly 50 days following Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday (or Passover). The Lord continues to give Himself to us through His Spirit today. Praying that you would know this power and comfort of the Advocate today and be encouraged to live life in His peace and strength.

Happy Mother’s Day! For many, this is a day of celebration. For others, there may also be a reality of sorrow or pain on this day. The Lord is present with us by His Spirit in all of our relationships and in our brokenness. May you feel His nearness today as you continue on in His perfect love.
